The Salvation Army where my friend works has a Chrome bag with a very specific image on the front flap if you or someone you know has lost or had a Chrome bag stolen send me an Email (juice@milehighmess.com) with the a description of the bag and the image on the front flap.
Get your team (costume/them strongly encouraged) and come to Civic Center Park and drink some FREE PBR while smacking a little brown ball around and trying to do it beater then your opposing team.

So AWESOME SPRINTS is putting this on and you should go. But if your not in the area and want to learn how to start your own gold sprints check this out.

You like bikes? You like art? Well you just might like Artcrank. And if you don’t realy give a shit, I know you love the Cyclejerks, the Track Shack and a boatload of people and you konw with that combination of rowdy folks it’s going to be a good time.
Well I was going to do Gang Bang 2009 “Wet Hot American Flyers” over Memorial day weekend but scum-bag Ross (originally for Denver) and some more jerk-faces from Seattle, WA. had to host the West side Invite on the same weekend. So I guess a group of us will be heading out to the “Emerald City” that weekend and so should you, lets help make it a big one. And as for Gang Bang “Wet Hot American Flyers” we will be putting it on over Labor day weekend to end the summer right.
So almost 20 years after the incarnation of the Pentabike it has its own website.
…Just waiting for a grand opening. Stay tuned to Boulder Indoor Cycling for a date. More details in this story from Bicycling.com.

Those support beams are so close to the course! I am so going to get decapitated by one, just wait.
So from the looks of it, you need to get certified on the the track which comes with the $25 membership you need to shell out, if you’re new to the velodrome you need to pay another $99 for 8 weeks of training. That’s a lot of dough and time! Can’t I just ride the damn thing?! Well, after you’ve been certified there’s a $9/hr open riding at designated times for different levels of ability.
Details of all this and schedules for races are here.
I’ve never raced on a track before, but I hear it’s pretty tight. According to Hipster Nascar…
“Boulder, CO is getting an indoor velodrome. It’s also getting an indoor mountain bike park, all in the same facility. In an audacious plan that, frankly, sounds a bit mental, Rodrigo Garcia, a local indoor sports impresario, is building a 50,000 square foot indoor biking center that will feature, get this, a 142m track with 45 degree banking. Just read that last bit again, slowly. 142m track. 45 degree banking. That’s nuts!”
Thanks to Simon at Hipster Nascar for posting this, I almost forgot about this place. Wow.
Every cyclist should know this site. I used to be obsessed with the climbing gear site Steep and Cheep until I found Chain Love. Basically it features one bicycle related product at a super discount (50% - 80% off) until it sells out. It clocks the countdown until the deal runs out (deadly), has lots of photos, a description, reviews, a gauge on each size and how many have sold/are left, and the rate at which they have sold. “One killer gear deal, one item at a time until it’s gone.”
Chain Love, Steep and Cheep, their snowboarding sister Whiskey Militia and for the ski bunnies Tramdock ($600 skis for $215!? WHAAAT!?) are a part of the motherload of all deals BackcountryOutlet.com.
Of course, you only want to get things from this site that you can’t find at your local independent bike shop.
