Cycle Jerks

Apparently, after being inactive for over a year, Cycle Jerks has won a Westword’s Best of Denver award for the category Best Beer: Cycling. Thanks? But really I think this should have gone to The Rim Job Bicycle Club who is actually active and drinks a fuck ton of beer weekly. The Rim Jobbers are lead by Curt Wallach, proprietor of your favorite bike shop Track Shack at 1338 Tremont. Rim Jobbers wear denim vests with patches and ride bikes that are way sexier than your shitty beach cruiser.

As for an update?
Juice is an original Rim Jobber and works at Track Shack when he’s not riding as a courier. Recently, he has expanded his love for mechanics to include mopeds as well. Sick.
Jen now blogs very infrequently at Well, It’s Irrelevant and is pathetically addicted to Twitter. She teaches indoor cycling to metal and punk rock at the yoga/cycling studio Breathe Denver at Colfax and Vine and pours coffee for Crema Coffeehouse at Larimer and 29th. Coming up soon, she has an article in Urban Velo about the veteran couriers of Denver, look out for it!
